Thanks
Given that it's on e-bay, it's probably a great big steamig pile of poo - even if you actually receive the item you pay for.

The seller looks very legitimate (34k ratings couldn't be wrong), but don't those tele and wide converters cost $100 each?

I would have to agree tht ebay is not the greatest place to shop, and your poducts will most likely be of lower quality, the deal itself however is actually pretty good. If you search froogle, or another shopping website, even the cheapest 2x teleconverer sells for $50.00 (Just the teleconverter). Now the $50.00 2x lens is probably better quality than the $99.00 kit, but overall the value is pretty good. Again, I am unsure of the quality, and you definitely run the risk of never receiving your product, however if the kit comes, and if you are not expecting the highest quality goods, I think you would be happy.

Retail (aka MSRP) is a serious markup. If he purchases enough of them he can get them cheap...and then toss them together for less than Sony would charge each. Assuming they're OEM....generics are far far less expensive to obtain.
One of my products cost me 50 cents each (I wont name it) and I sell it for MUCH more than that and yet I'm still selling it at $10 less than the MSRP. I just happened to have purchased several thousand of them...
I highly doubt you'll have to worry about not receiving your item...look at the feedback of the seller. THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of feedback and still 99.2% of those are positive. That's damn good...I doubt Wal-Mart has that high of a customer satisfaction rate if it could/would be quantified into a feedback system.

Thanks for the advice...I really appreciate it. I'm not so much worried about never receiving the stuff I pay for on ebay. I've been through many an ebay transaction and for the most part, all my sales and purchases have been pleasant. My main concern was quality...I mean I'm getting 10 pieces of equipment for 100 bucks so I guess it can't be too good. But, like I said, I'm a beginner so If I can learn with this stuff and make it useful then why not.
