Has anybody worked out how the auto ISO works under DS firmware 2.00 :confused: any info appriciated

I believe that it uses the lowest ISO value of 200 until the exposure falls outside 'normal limits'; the ISO value is then incrementally increased from 200 to 400, then 800, up to 1600 or 3200 or whatever the maximum value of ISO has been set, to obtain a correct exposure setting.
Obviously, if there is still insufficent ambient lighting, then the camera will indicate a wrong exposure.
Also note that if ISO WARNING has been set, this WILL NOT be visible - ISO WARNING only works when the ISO setting is manually set - really strange, but true!!
