Budget

I would ideally like to to spens less than $350

Size

I do not need the super small cameras, although I also do not want something that is as large as my old 35mm cameras. The size of a disposable or smaller is good for me.

Features

I would like enough MP to be able to enlarge photos and to edit photos and still have enough resolution to print good prints. This is presently my problem

I am not sure what zoom I need, I would like to zoom in on my daughter

“image quality” is a 10 for me on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being most important.

I am not choosy about manual controls, and the simpler the better when you are trying to capture an active 5 year old. Moments pass too quickly.

General Usage

I will generally be using the camera to photograph my daughter.

I will be making big prints of your photos, and will be cropping.

I will likely be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos.

I will likely be shooting some action photos?

Thank you for your assistance.

Canon A610 - check it out. Camera in the door for no more than $269.00. Memory card $25-50 depending on capacity you need/want. Case $20-25. Rechargeable batteries and charger $20. That should keep you within your budget and give you a fabulous camera.
