Kid wants a Digital. What should I get

He is 18.
He wants it slim (ShirtPocket Size)
He wants it BLACK

Budget = $200-$275
Size = Thin
Megapixels = 5 or more

This is just a carry around snap shot camera. 3x Optical is enough.
He just wants it cuz his girlfriend likes them and has one

He has pointed out the FujiFilm Z1
Which fits all his criteria, but I know nothing of this camera.

I would prefer he have a Nikon, but it is not my choice..

Can anyone give me alternatives that come in BLACK, are slim and are under $275

The Z1 is particularly good in low noise photos in lower light conditions, and is therefore a very good choice for an ultra compact camera. I do not think any Nikon can beat it as a compact good point and shoot camera, so go for it.

I believe the V550 has an option to come in black. That's at the top of my list of potentials for pocket sized PnS.
