Camera choice for jewelry shooting Macro mode

Hi Folks.

Please help me choose a camera for shooting diamond rings. My budget is 300 - 500 USD.

Also give me tips and tricks plz. I am a rookie.

Canon cameras tend to render material colours very good (metals, diamonds in this case) so you could do worse than lokking at the Canon Powershot A610 or A620. The tip i would give you is to use the smallest ISO setting and use a tripod if necessary, and set the white balance correctly.
