I purchased a DSC H1 earlier this year to take photos of my sons soccer team. It worked great and I am very happy with the ease of use and clarity of the photos. Now it is basketball season and the same outdoor settings don't work. The pictures come out too dark. When using modes other than the sports mode the pictures are blurry. Does anyone have a set-up they have found for this camera that will take good quality indoor sports shots?

I am by no means an expert, but this is what I tried after having the same problem. I changed the ISO to 400, the WB to fluorescent, turned off the flash, used the A mode and set the to the smallest number possible. I didn't use use the zoom much because it cuts down on the light. My thought was at 5M I should be able to crop the picture. The pictures did turn out a lot better, I haven't had a chance to see if the cropping will work or not.
Hope that helps a little
