filter help needed for FZ15

I have FZ15 and would like to buy some necessary filters. So far I never used them as I was not aware of their benefits.

I need help and suggestions on which filters work best for FZ15.
What step-up, adapter rings are needed ?
Is it advisable to use the included adapter tube or should I buy a new one ?

Please do help as I could not conclude from various google searches.

I also have panasonic pv-gs250 camcorder with 43mm lens. If I can save money and use same filters by buying some adapters, that would be great.

Please advise.

i am a fuji user, got to your post by a chance,
fz 15 not bad camera at all, nice zoom,
about filter, do consider polarizer(circular)
it is like (in general terms) having three filter together,(warmer, uv and...)
since you have acces to internet, do find out more by searching it,
some programs (software)have filters built in,cant tell you much about it
all i know is adobe photoshop cs, but the price will send you to the moon and back,
on the other hand if you serious about your pictures, you cant go wrong with it, it is a pro software, but bloody good,
dont buy anything in this second, because i told you,
do your resarch first, read what people say, and than consider,
it sound like an advice of ol wise man,
all i can add is that i am not consider my self wise, but the truth is i am 130 years old!!!:confused:

A UV filter
And a Linear Polarizer are pretty much standard.
On other filter I use a good bit for photographing water falls is a ND8

WHile its possible to use the Panasonic adapter its not the best Idea.
There is a member here that sells an adapter which has many benifits and will about save the price of the adapter by using smaller filters.

43mm is a little too small to use with the FZ15 as they will vignette a bit.
