Hi all,

I'm in Australia (Melbourne) and looking to spend around AUD$200. My two current choices are the Canon A410 (3.2MP) and Kodak Z700 (4MP) - both currently cost $199. I'm basically after the camera with the best image quality for $200 that takes NiMh batteries.

The main kinds of shots would be indoor shots of the kids (using the flash), outdoor scenic shots, and outdoor night shots of friends when we go camping (using the flash).

Image quality, versatility, flash recharge time etc are all important. :)

If you had the choice of the Canon Powershot A410, or the Z700 - which would you take?

(I'm also looking at the Canon A520, but it's a hundred dollars dearer - same goes for the Z730, Z740 etc...)

Firstly, The A410 Looks Ugly, And 3.2 MP Is a bit low(Epecially for prints) although u will be gettin rock solid reliablility..if i were u i would go for the A520 4.0 Megapixel..

From the two choices that you have listed - the Canon would be the better camera, IMO.
