Has anyone recently upgraded from a 995, and if so, to what? What are your impressions? Are there things you miss?
The reason I ask is that I currently have a Coolpix 995, and am considering upgrading to something quicker and smaller. The problem I'm having is in comparing the Coolpix 995 to more modern cameras. All the reviews of the 995 are glowing, but are several years old. When a modern camera is considered noisy, is it noisy compared to the 995? When the autofocus is slow, is it slow compared to the 995? You get the idea. Additonally, The 995 has a lot of cool features (BSS, ISO 800) and I'm hesitant to move foward. Help me convince myself :-)
Cameras I'm considering include the Fuji E-550 and Canon A610. I'm definately open to suggestions.
