I am looking for customer reviews of the P880. I have done a lot of research on the camera - they seem good and I just wanted to get some oppinions from those who have purchased it.

Thanks,
ldh

Bought it about a month ago direct from Kodak. Most other retailers were still promissing to get it but I got fed up and ordered from Kodak. Best Buy as far as I know is still not stocking it.
I am using a Lexar SD card and get great shots from it.

It seems I need more practice with the manual focus but get great focus and color from the automatic focus setting.

Great weight and feel of a much more expensive camera. For the price it is a great way to get into the SLR market. I am looking foward to adding lenses and flash.

I print on the new Epson R1800 printer using their inks and good Kodak papers. :)

That's what I wanted to hear. Seems you are very happy with your choice. I hope "Santessa" (My wife) puts one under the tree!:) If you would like e-mail me some good shots at ldhoguet@hotmail.com, please do. Keep me advised.

By the way. Do you do any photo editing? Just bought Elements4. Superb program but with a learning curve.

Have had it for a little over a month and about 1,000 pics and it gets better and better. Has tremendous capabilities. You can donwload the entire manual on the Kodak web page, gives you all the info you need. You can view some of the early pics I took, been too busy lately to post latest:
