First, my thanks to the people who spent time writing the review.
Then on to some (hopefully constructive) criticism:
"flash range 0.55 to 4.2 m" - is that a direct quote from Canon or have you tested the flash and found it useful over this range?
Complaints on expensive and proprietary battery - couldn't agree more. But how many charges is one likely to get out of it before it needs to be replaced: 5? 50? 500?
One need as "high speed" SD card to take full advantage of the camera - wouldn't it be better to mention how many megabytes/second the card needs to handle?
It supports USB2.0. That's fine, but only a buzzword. With how many megabytes/second can images be transferred to your computer?
There is also no mention of whether ot works with Linux (as I assume the included software is windows-only). Perhaps one can try gphoto and pretend it is a Canon S70?
