Hi All,

Anyone who can help me with this:

When I print from Elements3 I always get a message that the image will print at 220dpi or lower", is this a limitation in Elements3? I am using Canon 350D for shooting and have tried to resize the image to 300dpi without resample. But still the same message appears when I try to print. Why is this?

Regards
Jan

Jan-

You may went to check through the printer options before printing to see what quality or dpi it is set to. If the image is 300 dpi, and the printer is set to 220 dpi, you will only get a printout in 220 as the printer options will take precedence. What printer do you have?

I have a HP DeskJet 5550 Inkjet Printer. The message that is shown in the print window in Elements is: "The image will print at less than 220 dpi at current size". I have tried to play around with the printer settings without any imrovement.

Will the image fit on an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper? The error sounds as if the printer is set to scale the image to fit, but I could be wrong. Maybe try resizing the image? I'm out of ideas man, sorry.
