Wow 8 years...

... It's actually hard to remember that far back. I think I started here about 5 or 6 years ago.

Thanks for the great site, and hanging in there. I know that I have learned a lot, and thanks for the help along the way.

Eight years is a very, very long time for any website to be in existence. Thanks for your dedication to this site throughout all the years. Your hard work is really beginning to pay off!

Not to mention that I would never have thought about going for a DSLR had this site not existed, nor would I have thought about taking up photography as a serious hobby of mine. All I can say is... thanks! :o

Just thought I'd add my congratulations too Jeff. 8 yrs of no doubt hard but enjoyable work has developed an excellent website that has proved a valuable resource for me & I'm sure many others. It has also rekindled my interest in photography that had been dormant for much longer than 8yrs! Thanks to you Jeff I now have a camera that I love, a fascinating hobby & lots of friends all round the world to share it with. Oh & a few complaints from the wife that I'm always on the PC!

Happy holiday to all in the US from me overseas, I expect to see lots of great Thanksgiving pictures on the forums in a few days. How about someone starting a Thanksgiving thred?

Congratulations indeed! Even though I just got here, it's been such a tremendous resource through the reviews and the forums.

It would be interesting to see a few quotes or articles from the beginning. Given the rapid change of technology, I assume the first digicams were coal-fired. ;)
