Picture sizing? DX7630

I purchases a Kodak Easyshare DX7630 awhile ago and need some help with the picture sizes. Everytime I upload on "photobucket.com" to a get a link for the picture, and then when I post the picture, the picture is HUGE. Is there any site or thing I can possibly do to reduce the size of the picture without going under a paint program, because that simply ruins the picture.

I use a free program called IrfanView. Just open your picture to resize it and I save them as the 640x480 size. They have to be smaller like that for photobucket.
