View Full Version : Jeff, you've used a V3 -- how was the redeye???

Jeff -- I have a theory that because the V3 has a very weak flash (10 feet) and the flash is located very close to the lens (it twists, instead of flipping up), that this camera will have very bad redeye problems, ala the W1.

A lot of people are waiting for this camera to come out, and inquiring minds want to know about the redeye issue (and whether it's worth waiting for). I'm personally dying to know because I'm not interested in a camera that I have to post process every flash picture.

Anyway, since you're one of the lucky few (or maybe even the only one) to have used this camera so far, I was wondering if you had any insight on this issue.

Thanks!!!

John Browning

PS -- love the site!

Sorry, I never took any flash pictures with it. There wasn't a point in doing so, since it was just a preview of an early prototype camera.

Bummer, thought I'd ask.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

John.

I was going to buy a separate flash for my V3 and now, IF I keep it, it is going to have to be sooner rather than later.
