Sony DSC-P150 Movie Focus Problem?

Hi,

I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P150, and I've been generally pleased with both the photos and video it provides.

However, the focus during the movies seems to be wrong. It is constantly going in and out, from sharp to fuzzy.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it simply a situation where strong lighting is important for continual focus, or is the lens too small, or is it some flaw in the camera?

Any help or hints would be appriciated!

Hi,

Try setting your focus to infinity. I'm told that this solves the problem on the W1.

Give it a go! :D

Setting the focus to infinity helps a bit, depending on the lighting. However, the video appears to still go in and out of focus lightly, and the overall picture is grainier with the focus to infinity.

Any other hints or suggestions?
