oly ultrazoom's multi-metering mode (on/off)

hi everyone, im new here.

anyways, i've got an olympus c-740uz and i cant figure out how to turn the multi-metering on.

i have tried different settings/modes but i still caan't turn it on.

somebody said that it only turns on during spot mode.

i tried it, doesn't work.

please help.
