Canon A620 or A510?

Hi!

I am going to be purchasing a new camera and need some help. I am living overseas temporarily and do a good deal of travelling. I am looking for a good camera that gives me some options but is not so complicated that I am the only one in my family who can use it. I have two small kids so I don't want something that is HUGE... I also want the option of video. As for price I would like to stay under $500. My main thought is I want to be able to take photos in all situations. Most of my pictures are 4x6 or 5x7 but once I return home I would like to blow up a few to 8x10. In my research the Canon A620 & 510 both seem to have received great reviews and although they seem to have a few more features than I probably need, I would like to experiment and learn. That said, ANY and ALL opinions/thoughts would be VERY much appreciated!!!

Oddly enough you skip two models in between, the 4mp A520 and the 5mp A610 (the A510 is 3mp, the A620 is 7mp).

From that range the A610 has the best price/performance, it is as good as the 7mp A620.
