I hope I 'm not crossing the lines here...new to all this. I posted something in the general SLR chat, but then noticed this forum. Basically narrowed it down to these 3, and here are the factors determining my choice:
1. I will be climbing mountains with this camera, in all seasons
2. the long term cost of lenses is a slight concern
3. I will be taking few macros, mostly using tele lenses and wide angle - probably wide angle first.
4. I'd like to spend less than 800
Hopefully this is enough to get it going, and I really appreciate the feedback I've gotten so far. This is a fantastic site!
