I like my H1 quite a bit, but I'm also finding myself wanting something more (as you can tell in my sig) for shooting my fast-moving 1 year old indoors! :D

It's a great camera for outdoors, and the zoom is terrific, but you start to see the real limitations of it if you try to shoot indoors without flash. I like to preserve lighting conditions generally, so this is a real issue for me!

Once I do get a D50, I will be keeping the H1 though!

Jason,
I have a question for you. I own an H1 also. You said its hard to get indoor shots on sport mode. I guess I found this out too. What is the best setting for lets say a Basketball game indoors? Thanks for any help

If you're shooting indoors, you'll want to go into aperture priority and select the largest aperture (lower F number) possible. This lets you maximize the shutter speed to freeze the action. You may also need to bump up the ISO depending on your results.
