what is TTL autofocus?
how does it differ from the 9-point AiAF (Automatic Focus Point Selection)/1-point AF (Fixed to centre)?
is one much better?

TTL means Through The Lense. AiAF means Artificial Intelligence Auto Focus. I am pretty sure that AiAF is done through TTL. AiAF is a system developed by Canon to assist digital cameras in focusing and TTL is the method which the focusing is done.
Hope This Helps...
Ken
The way to think of it is that AiAF is a TTL implementation...
