I'm very close to buying a Panasonic FX9 camera, but one of my criteria is that it work with an Apple Camera Connector and my iPod.

Apple's support page does not list this camera as supported, but says that 'iPod camera connector works with digital cameras that support the following transfer protocols: Mass Storage, PTP, and Type 4 (sometimes referred to as “Normal”).'

Can anyone confirm that the FX9 does or does not use any of these protocols?

Well, I purchased the FX9 and took it to the Apple store. They let me test a Camera Connector with my camera and iPod, and it works! What a nifty little device.:D
