Photo printer that can take card

I know that this may be the wrong forum for this question...apologies for this..

But, does anyone know of a good photo printer which can also print on to card to at least 260gsm???? I've tried contacting the respective manufacturers, but they seem to qutoe exactly the spec that goes with the printer spiel. They don'y actually answer my question.

I'm a hardware geek but not so much in printing technology, perhaps if you explained in simpler terms for the non-printing geek you'd get a few more answers.

You said card???? What kind of card? Card stock, identification cards? Remember that you will encounter varying levels of techno knowledge in here, if you rephrase se we can all understand their might someone that can direct you towards an answer. :)

You could try downloading user manuals for printers you are interested in and look at the specifications in the manual. Therre's usually more info there than in the marketing claptrap.
