I am interested in buying a couple of Canon lenses. I notice that some online sellers show imported lenes and USA lenses. Are there quality differences between the two? Are USA lenses really made in the USA?

Imported means they don't carry a USA warranty. They're all made in Japan or China or Taiwan, etc depending on the grade of the lens. I believe all the *better* lenses are made in Japan.
