View Full Version : Indoor movies too dark with Canon A75

I have recently bought a Canon A75 camera. I am very happy with it so far except for using the movie mode indoors with artificial lighting. The movies are all too dark. Does anyone know of some adjustment I can make to produce a normally lit picture. When the camera is set to the movie mode there doesn't seem to be a provision for adjusting the light sensitivity of the camera.

Turn more lights on is your only answer mate.

All the powershots need very bright light for movie recording. Indoor movies will be very dark and grainy. There is nothing wrong in that. You can get good movies taken in outdoor. You can try adjusting "Effects" and "White Balance" (Not sure in A75). But still you won't get a good movie. By the way, Windows movie maker can take out the grains from night shots.
