I've got a samsung digimax a402 that i'm very pleased with as a budget point and shoot (backup) camera. It has no auto focus, no optical zoom (4x digital zoom) but it cranks out some beautiful pictures at 4 megapixels. (I've made some stunning 8x10 prints with it.) Runs on 2 AA batteries. It has a powerful flash and a decent movie mode that goes up to 640x480 30 frames per second. I got it locally for 98 bucks cuz it's tiny and cute. (Excellent for candid shots, fits in just about any pocket or other concealed storeage area.) Search around for it and i'm sure you can turn up a good deal. Just my 2 cents. Also, i wouldn't buy used. You just don't know how it was treated before you got it. I don't care if it is a budget camera. 100 bucks is 100 bucks. There are too many good budget options out there that produce excellent results to for go a warantee.
