Nevermind, you did important thing rapidly, that was to post an opinions, pics etc. Very well done.
I would like to request you to post your opinion at camera section of dpreview (for P880 in kodak cameras). That will stay there for longer time and would be helpful for a lot of people.

Again, sorry so late, work has increased, thus not much time. But I will take your advice.

In reading some of the comments elsewhere I have began to realize that this camera has so many options that some are having a hard time adjusting the camera to meet their need. Beginners may not want all those options, they are being overwhelmed. For me this is superb, because I love playing with all those options perfecting the shot. It gives you tremendous creativity.
