Yup, it's ski season again, at least for a few days with a big early season storm in northern New England. Here are a few shots, mostly taken in Manual mode with ISO set to 50. All the action shots are done in burst mode.

This camera has been great for skiing, which was the main reason I bought it. I can carry it easily, it's fast, takes great action shots, and I'm enjoying the rest of the features (macro, movie). Long battery life in the cold doesn't hurt either.

I'm getting a 1 G card and an extra battery for this winter. :)

Great shots! What were your settings for the first photo?

My home mountain (Mt. Hood) is getting dumped on today and it's supposed to continue through the weekend. Looks like we might have an early opening also... :D :D :D
