Canon SD series people: How to get the wrist strap on?

Also, what are the benefits of having the strap on? Is it strong enough to allow you to dangle the camera from the strap? it wont break?

Just slip the end through the hole and loop it back through the short end of the strap. It took approximately 4 seconds.

Yes, it supports the camera just fine. Is this really a concern?

As the above poster said, slot the small loop through the gap for the wrist strap, then thread the strap through the loop.

If you have trouble slotting the small loop - tie a piece of string around it and pull it through.
