Here is a picture that I took of my iguana. He is about 18 months old right now and growing like a weed.

I was having fun with my new Canon S2 IS and he didn't like the autofocus light so he got all grumpy.

When you're that close, he looks like a dragon. Well, a wingless dragon anyway ;)

No, he isn't too big yet. He is about 2.5 feet long right now and when full grown, he will push 6 feet and weigh in at over 10 pounds! These things get quite large and live for a long time. My last iguana lived to be 17 years old!

They are real neat animals though. They are quite smart and have a lot of personality for a lizard.

Anyone else on here have one? I would like to see some pics of yours!

Are you sure about the feet? :eek:
How tall are you yourself? A foot is about 30cm and so 6 feet is about 180cm.

Yeah, I am sure that they get that big. I am 5 foot 8 inches myself. My other full grown Iguana that I had while I was a kid was female and she was about 4 feet long. Check out www.greenigsociety.org for more information on these great animals. The males tend to range from 4 to 6 feet when fully grown and I have a friend with a 10 year old male Iguana that is a bit over 6.5 feet long! :eek:
