Do u think it is a good or bad idea to buy the floor model of the powershot S2 IS ..I bought the camera and the only one they have is the floor model..for $500.00 I am thinking of making them order a new one for me. Do you agree?

$500 is the list price for a NEW camera. No way you should accept the floor model for that much.

I agree. I paid $422 USD at Best Buy with a 10% off coupon. They were selling it for $465.

A floor model is used (possibly abused). See if they can give you a better deal, or have them order you one...or, buy it new from just about any other local store for the same price or less.
