While out Saturday night using my 2 month old SD500 the screen suddently went all white. The camera seems to still be functioning. I cannot use the LCD for anything besides draining the battery. I can't turn the LCD off. If the cam is on, then the LCD is on. Help!

Call Canon; your camera comes with a one year warranty but if the white LCD is the result of something you did, they are going to charge you for the repair.

I submitted a help ticket with their website yesterday and they immediately wanted me to send it in for repair under warranty. If they deem it as something I did (can't remember anything, it just lives in its little case in my pocket) then thast fine I just want it fixed, it was my own fault for not buying the warranty at circuit city.
