extenders

I have the 300D + Sigma 50-500 lens can anyone tell me the best extender to buy which will suit this camera/lens Many thanks

One question comes to mind is... why??

Anyway... at 500 the lens already has a max aperture of f6.3. Putting on an extender will making focussing hard, because a 1.4x extender will take the max. aperture down even more, less light reaching the sensor... and a 2x extender would be out of the question.

If you really want that, I guess a tamron 1.4x SP version extender would be your best bet.

Hmm I was thinking about taking my Sigma 50-500mm, and reversing my Canon 70-200mm on the end of it. :eek: :D :rolleyes:
