My Son did an afternoon Workshop with The Apollo Saxophone Quartet
This took place in Bromley (England).
In the evening there was a concert - which all of the 70ish kids took
part - I got a great Panorama shot. I won't, however, post any of the kids
as I can't possibly get all the parents permission - I will pop a couple of
the Appolo Sax Quartet on.
So there I was all set up. I knew what to do and what settings
then when they came on they dimmed all the lights and left them in virtual
darkness to play along with an old fahioned bit of film. Still my A-200 managed it -
even on 1 sec hand held in very dark conditions - so no focus issues!
Firstly - a pic of two of the Quartet listening to the kids...

That previous pic was: -
10th sec F3.5, ISO 100, 112mm equiv tungsten white
just a resize for the post.
However - this was one of the low light shots: -
0.63 sec, F3.5, ISO 800, -0.7ev, 88mm equiv, tungsten white
I was suprised I got it at all - and some of them were as low as 1 sec.
The anti shake gives me 2 - 3 stops help, but I had my hand held quite still

What made the dark shots even harder was they had a view screen near them bleeding blue light in - which made exposure even harder.
I am actually more pleased with the A-200 than before now. If I had a
dSLR I know that would be even better - but it's not an option right now.
Here's the same 2 guys later on when the lighting returned to normal tungsten...20th sec, f3.5, ISO200, 92mm equiv

Finally - all of them on the last number.
They're very good if you are in England, Like sax music and don't mind
something a little different...
Hope you enjoyed the pics - sorry none of the kids.
