How to reset Cybershot W5?

Hi!

I'm with a problem with my W5.
When I turn it on, it freezes on the screen writen "Cybershot", and the lens do not open.
There are no error codes.

I tried changing batteries, recharge batteries.
With memorystick, w/out memorystick...

The Sony website says to remove batt and hold the power button for 15s, but it didn't worked (the clock is still correct)...

What should I do?? There is another way to reset/reboot it?

There is a setting in the setup menu called "initialize" that will reset everything. Hope it works for you.

I had a problem with my W5 where I turned it on and the lens came out, but I got an error message that said "turn camera off and on again" and the lens wouldn't retract or anything. I tried the whole take batteries out, hold down power button, put batteries back in thing and it didn't work for me either. Ended up having to send it in for warranty repair. When I got it back the work order said they replaced the main CPU board. Then the camera did the same thing the other day, but power cycling fixed the problem. It still makes me nervous though. I wonder how many other people are having problems with this camera??

the buttons are not working..
