Hi I have a Canon S2 IS and love it! The only problem I have is figuring out how, or what program to use to convert the video files so they can be put on a DVD. If you have any suggestions or know where I can find help please let me know.
I bought Pinnacle studio plus, but have not opened it since I'm not sure it will work with the files from the S2 IS.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

That will do it, the manual for the program should tell you how.
To do a simple conversion (no menus, etc) it is probably as easy as opening the movie in th program and then choosing an "Export to DVD" or "Burn to DVD" option.
I've never used the program, so I can't tell you exactly. I've got a Mac so I'm used to iMove and iDVD, but based on Pinnacle's website, that program should work just fine.

I'm still debating using that software, but the info does help. I have done some more reading and the files that canon uses for video are JPEG AVI. I am a complete novice when it comes to this subject. So thanks again.
