Thanks Juan. I actually had my most sophisticated lighting set up yet with the two 3/4 length shots in the middle (butterfly on the dress). My key was a 24X36 softbox camera left, fill was another flash (Sunpak 383) through a 42" white translucent umbrella (camera right), I had a hair/back/rim light opposite my key (at about 2 o'clock) behind her and a another flash with a snoot made of blackwrap on the background. The four lights really helped create a more three dimensional feel.

Can I take a guess at which lens was used in the first photo?
If so, then my guess would be the 50 1.8 - The only reason I say this is because its slightly OOF and I get similar results with mine. Other than that these photos are really neat. I think I would have waited until the man in the BG of number 6 walked past but not that big of a deal. Good job.

That shot was actually done with the Canon 85 1.8. I have more focusing problems with that lens than my 50 1.8.
As for the dude in the shot, I purposely chose that. For me, it adds both a sense of "life in the big city" and/or drama/menance to the shot. (Sorry, I'm also a filmmaker so am often looking to heighten tension in a scene.;) )
Thanks for checking out the pics!

Well - All in all it still works. DOF helps there I suppose [with the man in the BG]
I would have lost a nickel on that bet, the 50 1.8 guess. I don't have any problems obtaining focus with either lens, I don't want to mislead you, I just have problems with the 50 1.8s results - occasionally I get some that seem just a hair off focus.
