I need big help!

I have accidently deleted ALL photos from the SD card (Minolta G400) AND took a few pictures before I even realized this. They are all very important wedding pictures of my friend and I really need to recover them asap. But I have tried couple recovery program but only part of the deleted pictures shown up. Not to mention the most important wedding pictures are still "invisible". So now I wonder if anyone can explain to me what can I do and why the rest of the pictures did not show up???

Please help me out because I feel really sad now...and hopeless...

I have had some measure of success with a program called File-Saver. I found it on the Internet. You might try Goggling it. I have not tried recovering in the camera. You may need a card reader.

so you mean there is a difference between reading the "camera" and the "SD card"? becasue I just connected the camera to my computer and recover the camera drive. Also, I saw some weired photos from the recovery which I could not see and I think they are part of the wedding pictures.
