Just bought a used Rebel XT without a neck strap. So I was thinking about getting a professional neck strap for 20D from Canon for $30 since it looks stronger and nicer with anti slip backing and red stripe. But Canon website states that this neck strap only fits EOS 1N, EOS 1N RS, EOS 20D, EOS Elan II/IIE, EOS-1Ds Mark II, EOS-1v,EOS-1v HS Body.

Does the 20D strap fit on a Rebel XT?

If you need a strap, message me. I have a few from my 350D, 20D, and Kiss Digital N.
I would be happy to send it to you if you want it.:)

Looking at them I see no reason why one strap would not fit any body.

If you want a real strap though, get an Optech ProLoop. I have one and LOVE it.
Very comfortable and it makes the camera/lens feel like a feather.

Could you compare the size of the straps (where they loop into the ring part) for the 20D and 350D if they are the same size? I kind a like the 20D straps cause they got the red stripes on them. Anyway, how much do you want for the 20D strap?
I've never heard of Optech ProLoop. Would you be able to post a pic or two?

Mine is all black, I didn't want to use the uncomfortable 20D's 'come steal me' bright red, digital strap.

I just compared them again, the straps are the same width and the loops are the same too.

You can have it for free.
Check your PM.

Helping people out in the photo community will eventually comeback to you.
I have experienced this. It's not always necessary to make a buck.
I got a free card reader and some filters this way.

What is every ones feelings on hand straps?

I have been thinking about getting one but I am not sure where to look and what is a good price for one.

Any advice?

I never really like those hand straps. But I guess it's a matter of personal preferences...

I have the canon grip and love it!
The 20D feels like a dream to hold.
I haven't tried it with the 350D because I don't have an adapter or grip yet.
I bet the 350D will feel like a feather when using the handstrap.

I paid 12 dollars shipped for mine, but it was purchased used.
