Hi
Hoping that someone might be able to shed a little light for me ..
I have a 300d which i love, it takes great shots in most lights but it is heavy and i have to buy at least a 70-300mm lens for my backpack around africa which will only add to the bulk and make me more of a theives target. So when i saw the s9500 it seemed to solve all my problems, its light, has a great zoom and has even more pixels. Ieventually opted to buy one and then choose which one to get rid of...
After a week of happy snapping in all conditions inside and out i finally uploaded my images. Although i was pleasanly surprised with the speed of which they transfered i was more than dissapointed by the quality of the pics. nearly all of them had noise and were so grainy that even a pin hole would have produced better images.
So disheartened i went out again with the 9500 and very carefully checked iso at 100 and the like, yet sill when i uploaded, the images were nothing compared to my canon.
I just wanted to know ...am i missing out on something that all other 9500 owners have or is it a simple fact that the canon takes better pics
I know i can alter my images in photoshop but i prefer to take better pics and do less editing....
can anyone help ...??? or should i just go and buy the bigger lens and give the 9500 back to the shop.????
keep smiling ... staryzarey
