Strange SD500 LCD Issue (not cracked)

well i took out the camera (which was working fine a few hours ago), and turned it on. the screen was totally white, with a black blob across the middle with a lot of other colors (pink and blue) around it. i can still take pictures and use all of the features but the lcd seems messed up.

any idea what happened/how to fix it?

on the outside it looks perfectly normal
