A lot of the Z series cams have a continuous shooting mode that'll do 10 fps for 2 seconds at a lower (1024X768) res. This would be the perfect cam for an amateur skateboard photographer that wants to do sequences. has anyone ised this feature? could you upload a sequence?

I've tried this feature for several times, when taking shots of lightning and shooting bugs. It do it's job but since it force ISO level to 400 images come pretty noisy and it's usability would be pretty limited, so actually I only use usual continuous mode with 2-3 frame per second, it's work much better for my purposes.

hehe, we don't have golf clubs here ;)
I had some pictures of birds done in this mode but they all was erased by me(during usual clean-up) because of poor quality. Will try to see if I can make some sample shots for you

That's one of the features I haven't tried yet with my camera, but want to soon. I will let you know how they turn out.
There is much I have not yet tried, and I come here to learn all I can about my camera and it's capabilities from those who use them.

I took some pictures using the UHS Continuous Advance mode of my Z3. I'm posting the 15 shots here. They aren't great pictures, but they do show how well the function works.
Here's shot #1:

Here's a quick small animated version. Remember, these shots were taken just to illustrate this feature. They were taken handheld and at high zoom so the quality isn't the best, but it should give you a feel for the speed of the UHS Continuous Advance feature.
This animated version had to be made this tiny in order to fit within the upload file size restrictions. It's playing the frames back at the same speed at which they were taken.

Here's an example I put together about a year and a half ago from my Z1. I used the feature a bunch at that time in photographing sports. I've since upgraded to the Z3 and haven't used it as much, but on the times I did, it seemed to be much less responsive than the Z1 was (slower and more erratic frame rate).
Click the following link and there's a golf swing for you (albeit a disc golf rather than ball golf swing :-)
