Awesome shots as always. Not a very happy dude, though. I really want to like the last one (it's a cool, creative setting and subject placement), but I think I'd clone out the line that bisects his head...just MHO...

Thanks Jamison. This was actually a really good lesson for me in working with people. He does have a sad look though in retrospect I think he was more anxious than unhappy. I wasn't really tuned in enough while we were shooting to notice it though. It wasn't until later when I looked at the photos that I saw how his whole face (and photos) changed when he smiled. I'm shooting another guy tomorow and will be more tuned in to his mood.

I kind of like the lines in the last shot but thanks for the comment. :)

I just checked out the whole gallery, and he does look completely different when he smiles. Compositionally, I especially like #27. As for the lines, I think #29 does a better job incorporating the lines as a compositional element without distracting from the subject...but that's why it's art...we can all have our favorites!
