I've seen great reviews of this camera, with the exception of battery life.
My usage of the camera would probably just include taking pictures of things around me, taking pictures while out with friends or family or boyfriend, etc. Apparently on one battery charge you can take about 120 pictures with the v550, but I'm assuming this doesn't include things that people often do, like scrolling through the pictures on the camera and viewing them on the LCD, etc. I don't want to be out and have my camera constantly dying on me...that said I probably wouldn't be taking 100s of pictures a night and a second battery would probably be purchased as well.
So I'm wondering - those of you who own this camera and use it regularly while out, how many pictures would you say the battery generally affords you? Do you tend to look through the pictures (which of course would take up more battery power), or just take 'em and then look at them all later when you upload them?
