taking pictures to put on a card

I have a Dimage Z20 and I need to send the picture to a company that puts them on truck cards. The card they go on is 3 and half by 2 and a half. I need to know if I have to do something special for them to look right on a card that size. thank you.. Anna
The lady that picks the pictures out said for me to use the highest resolution. I just put the camera on auto and took the picture.

You may have to crop your image a bit to make it fit the 3.5 by 2.5 format.
Since your highest resolution is 2560x1920 you are going to have to crop it to 2560x1829 to get the right format. Any graphics program ought to be able to that, but if you don't have one try IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com/) it's free and can do a bunch of useful stuff, including cropping/rescaling your picture.
