It's so tiny, much smaller than I remember.

I need to get a grip for the kissDN asap. :p
I traded a lens for this camera plus cash.

Juan - why'd you go back? Why not a 5D?:)

I went back for the same reason I don't have a 5D.... no money. I just moved back home with my wife and just got a job, but bills are gathering and the 20D/grip is worth 2 months rent.
Besides, for what I shoot now, the 350D, or in this case, the Kiss DigtalN, will be just as good.
The 5D only appeals to me for everything BUT the FF sensor. The increased dynamic range, better ISO performance, faster AF, and better resolution make it an ideal camera. The sharpness out of the camera is stupifying.
I wish the 5D had a 1.6x crop mode.

Hey welcome back ... but I must've missed something ... what happen with the 20D?

I still got it. I shot a bowling tournament today, I had the 20D with a 70-200 f/2.8 and my kissDN with the 50 f/1.8. It was sweet.
The 20D will have to go soon though.
I can't wait for the replacement for the 20D comes out. Hopefully better dynamic range, noise performance, buffer, and focus sensitivity/speed.

I just picked one up about a week and a half ago, and I am smitten by this little camera. Yeah, it's little...that's what turned me off to it originally...but it packs a whole lot of DSLR into the little package. Image quality is pretty close to that of my 20D, flash metering is just as good (my main reason for buying it), and it's a whole lot lighter on my shoulder all day than the 10D it replaces (anyone interested in a VG 10D...?).
So tiny...

With the 35 f2 (mounted above), it is the perfect low-cost, lightweight, walk around prime dslr combo.
XT with 35mm f2 @ f2, ISO 1600, no PS (just resized):

100% crop from the camera:

Now the cons:
The size is perfect with lightweight primes, but it becomes a bit unweildy with a solid zoom. It is front heavy with my 28-70L, and almost uncomfortable with my 80-200L. I may give the battery grip a try.
I love that Canon built FEC into the XT, but don't like the fact that I have to click 4-5 times to get to it. I am constantly adjusting FEC and would really like to get there in one click. A hack to custom map the buttons would do the trick...
ISO 1600 is still not quite as clean as my 20D.
All in all, however, I'm pretty impressed with this little camera. It's already the one that I grab for personal use when I am leaving the house...and will be the one I take on vacation (should I ever get another one of those), but will still serve me well, side by side with my 20D, professionally until I upgrade to a 1DmkII next year!

I hate the FEC correction method. I was shooting last night with the KissDN and the 20D and I was being held back by the KissDN. In manual mode the multiple button pressing for changing Aperture sucks...

Nope. Been shooting with a 20D since March. Backed it up with a DReb (my first DSLR), then a 10D. Now I'm backing it up with the XT (and trying to not take too big a bath on the 10D - the prices on the used market have really taken a plunge in the last week). Really liking the XT so far...

I had been shooting paintball photography with my 20D, since april I think.
I shot with a markII for a month, that was really fun.

Maybe I missed something, but what is the Kiss DN? Is it just a Rebel XT with a different name? I've never heard of that one before.
