I have a DX7590. I have read manual many times. I just can't seen to get the right setting to produce clear nice pictures taken outside at football game of my daughter cheerleading during 7-9pm. Could someone please give me some setting I could try in Manual Mode that could work. Tonight is homecoming. Lastnight I went to try at same football field at a JV game and came home and got rid of 85percent of pics. Too grainy, or blurry, or dark, not good at all. When I try in sports way to dark, auto bad. I know I need to find someone to teach me how to use this, I am really a hands on learner. And this is my first ever camera. Thanks

Low-light action shots are very difficult with all point and shoot prosumer cameras including Kodaks. Due to less noise levels, Kodaks actually perform better. Now what you have to do is to adjust settings according to available light.
Try first Auto mode, you will get some type of shot, check the pic info for what were the settings chosen by camera. NOw go to manual (in PASM dial)
F-stop keep as low as possible, shutter speed should be according to light available but you need to freeze action also, so 1/100 would be good to start with. Increase ISO to 200 in menu options. Change white balance to incascandent setting. Try that out, and please post some photos to make more accurate assesments.
