Would like opinions as to which type of camera would be best for photos to be used in auctions. I do not have good indoor lighting, need to take close ups and distance photos, am not digital camera savy, and can't spend a fortune. Any advise would be greatly apreciated. Also, if you know of a good web site for camera purchases, please let me know.. good as in reliable, honest, etc.. thanks, Judy

I think pretty much any camera will do that. If you have a lot of small stuff to sell, you want to make sure it can shoot in macro mode.

Something else to consider might be a background for the pictures. I just read about this ''background in a briefcase'' from Sharpics called D-Flector. http://www.sharpics.com/ D-Flector comes in various sizes, from 18'' to 36'' in width (USD 90 and 200 respectively). The blurb in Shutterbug (October issue) is all positive.

I hope this helped just a little ;)
