Ok I need some serious advice here. $50cdn to go from Canon SD200 to SD300? Cdn $ that is.
I bought an SD200 (3.2MP) 4 months ago, 8 months left on the warranty. It works great, I was going to get an SD300 had it not been $150 more at the time. But right now, I got offered a mint, no marks SD300 with everything box and all that for $300cdn. Its from a site,(no feedback though about this guy). But hes only 5 mins from my house, and I think $300 is a good deal for that model ,but only thing...its 1.5yrs old meaning no warranty remaining. So I pretty much have to take it up on this guys word that theres no problems with it, and never been serviced. Says its perfect shape.
So I got offered $250 for my SD200 which IMO is a deal I think would be stupid to pass up, considering I only paid $300 at the time. So my question is, $50 basically to go from SD200 (3.2) to SD300 (4.0). Worth it? How safe is it to buy a used cam with no warranty left? Thats my main concern.
My sister has the sd300, nice cam, but mine is as well lol.
