Concerts, sports, and general

I've been browsing around for about a month now and i'm still not exactly sure what i want. Seems like there's more to buying a good camera then a car. Anyway, heres a breakdown on what im looking for.

>Someting thats fast and does very well in low light. I do a lot of shooting at concerts in small clubs (a lot of flashes and light changes, but mostly low light)

> I'm thinking a ceiling of about $700 but a little more wont kill me

>Higher zoom for arena shows and sporting events

>As far as picture quality goes, the higher the better

>If i print , they wont be bigger than 8x10

>Size: I think a full size SLR is to big for me, something in the middle

Well after more research and browsing around in different forums. I've liked what I've seen of the Pentax iST DL and DS. I have to sell my laptop first so I have about another week or two for research.

What do you guys recomend as far as, should I buy body only or go with the kit lense. If I do go with body only whats a good starter lens that will meet my needs?
